Let’s talk about Livestock Guardian Dogs for a minute. We have them. We’ve trained them. And we’ve learned a lot along the way.

Our first flock of Katahdin Hair Sheep were nearly all killed or severely harmed by a domestic dog attack on our farm. The ewe I mention in “the truth: about ketosis and ewes” survived this attack.

Needless to say – we needed another line of defense to care for our livestock.  

And then began the search for our Livestock Guardian. One we could depend on and one that could grow with our flock.
